Faversham Umbrella is a registered charity and relies heavily on grants and donations to operate. All donations that we receive are used directly to help us provide the support we give to our visitors and the community. Any amount, however large or small is very much appreciated!
Apart from the cost of the day top day running of the charity we also need to maintain a Grade 2 listed building, to ensure compliance and safety of all visitors

As well as donations we also rely on other streams of income, in the hope we can become more sustainable in the day to day running. Ways to support us are:
Hire a room – all rental income goes back into the charity to maintain the building and supply workshops
Use our café – All income generated from our café is used to support further activities and workshops
Donate for a handcrafted item – The volunteers in our workshop produce some lovely handmade items. Donations can be given in exchange for an item, with all donations being used to support the charity further.
Join an activity group – Utilise our facilities and the free activities or courses run. Whilst visiting use the cafe or donate in one of our donation pots to help us continue offering our services for free.
Buy some of our lovely artwork on display – Some amazing local artists are supporting us by having their beautiful artwork hanging in our café. All items are for sale and a percentage of each sale is donated to Faversham Umbrella to support the great work we do
Faversham & District Community Lottery – Enter a weekly draw and select Faversham Umbrella as your chosen charity. A percentage of all ticket sales is donated to our charity to enable further activities to be held
